About the Passion

Who I am:

My passion for fitness all started when I used to look up 10-minute AB workouts on YouTube before bed. From there I continued to grow my knowledge about the body and the science behind exercise. 

I love soccer and I devoted all of my highschool career to the sport. Putting in the work and seeing results on the field was addicting, but unfortunately due to a serious injury I couldn't finish out my senior year. It sucked but they say that when one door closes another opens. 

After some reflecting I decided to persue personal training. I hoped that I could share the passion that I have with others and help them grow.

I don't know how to take the first step?

Getting a personal trainer can help teach you the ropes, not just me but any personal trainer. Simply just reaching out can get your fitness journey started from there. 

Where do I start?

Tracking what you eat is so crucial to changing your body. There are levels to everything, you can scale it down to just figuring out what your BMR by adding up what you eat on a regular basis to tracking every gram you eat and when you eat it. 

But I don't like running?

Any cardio is great cardio but some are more suited for your body. I love running but that can be hard on my joints sometimes so I take a turn on the stationary bike or rowing machine, many like HIIT. But doing low intensity exercise for longer periods has been shown to target body fat. 

Am I getting enough Sleep?

Getting enough sleep is based off of your own body. Whether that's 8 hours, or 6 hours of sleep. But as long as you're getting enough quality sleep for your body. Studies show that breathing with your mouth closed has a number of benefits. 

How can I lose fat?

Despite the common misconception you cannot just burn fat. Getting "toned" is just the act of decreasing your body fat and increasing your muscle mass. Through diet, exercise, and consistency almost any vision you have for your body can be seen.
